True.
My best work was something I did on June 2007 - a pic I've never uploaded anywhere (and never will - it's a bit private).
I just don't draw poses as well as I did back then, like I've fallen into my own comfort zone.
Or maybe it's 'cause I hardly ever draw during summer vacation...

I have the exact same feeling.
When I draw sometimes it turns out amzingly nice other times it looks awful (be it a newer drawing or thing I thought was good at the time). I guess that's the way it is.
